Gull Lake & Silver Lake
GULL LAKE
Like Kahshe and Bass, Gull Lake is entirely within the Town of Gravenhurst. Gull Lake Park is a popular local attraction with it’s large public beach and permanent barge featuring live concerts during the summer months. Cottagers often boat to town for supplies or entertainment. Being right in town, there are many year round homes on Gull.
SILVER LAKE
One can boat into Silver through the narrows at the eastern end of Gull Lake or drive in via Silver Lake Road off Doe Lake Road but many cottages are water access only. As a result, it is a more private lake than Gull. It is approx. half the size of Gull with a perimeter of 7 km.
